Jeevan in New Zealand.
On March 01, 2007, Jeevan scaled up the operations by opening a new office in New Zealand. The General Manager, Stewart Baird, would head the sales unit for the Australian and New Zealand region. The new business unit is located in Wellington, New Zealand and makes Jeevan better placed to provide the highest level of quality services to customers in this part of the world.
Mr. Napoleon Duraisamy, Chairman of Jeevan Technologies inaugurated the new office which provides an opportunity to new and existing customers to communicate with the Jeevan team in modern and more effective ways.

Jeevan Technologies has been accredited with platinum membership by Pitney Bowes group, a fortune 500 company & world's leader in mailstream software solutions. Jeevan has also signed a business agreement with Pitney Bowes - Group 1 Software, the only company to offer an end to end Customer Communication Management Solutions, a module ranging from Database integration to Delivery.

Jeevan's New Offshore Development Center
Jeevan's second Offshore Development Center (ODC) in Chennai, India is functional now. The new ODC, with a built-up area of 6200 square feet, is located at Elnet Software Technology Park, TS 140, Block 2 & 9. CPT Road, Taramani. With the addition of another ODC, Jeevan is better placed to provide the highest level of quality services to customers worldwide.
Mr. Balasundaram ( Vice President of Hexaware Technologies) inaugurated the new ODC on August 28, 2006. The Elnet Software Technology Park provides state-of-the-art infrastructure:
- Uninterrupted power supply (UPS)-30KVA and Diesel Generator backup
- Security and maintenance of common area managed by Elnet, a joint sector venture by the Government of Tamilnadu
- CCTV and Intelligent Fire Safety system for the common area
- Access Control system for both Jeevan’s ODC as well as the common area

CD on Road safety, Working for a cause.
Jeevan Technologies has created an interactive multilingual CD on Road Safety. This CD will be distributed by Sree Balaji Seva Trust to schools all over Tamilnadu. The CD will help school children to learn about road safety and raises the awareness for the public about the potential risks and consequences of accidents.
As road safety is part of the National Curriculum, schools play an important role in educating children about road safety. The CD includes video clippings related to the road accidents, traffic rules such as traffic signals, road signs and also the guidelines for car drivers, pedestrians, two wheelers, motorcyclists. The CD aims at providing awareness about the road safety to school children, and will also be used by the police department in educating the general public.
Mr. Surjit Singh Barnala (Governor of Tamil Nadu) launched the Multi Lingual CD on road safety on 11th August 2006, at Triple Helix Hall of the Central Leather Research Institute, Adyar, Chennai. Shri Vaikunth, I.P.S, former D.G.P, Tamilnadu and Managing Trustee of Sree Balaji Seva Trust presided over the function. The Governor presented a Memento to Mr Suresh (CEO of Jeevan Technologies) for Jeevan’s contribution in creating the Road Safety CD.

Women’s Day Cellebration at Jeevan
Jeevanites celebrated the 98th International Women's Day on the 8th of March, 2007. Employees and the management team were determined on this day to show their respect for the entire women community and celebrate economic, political and social achievements of women.
After men were dressed like woman, yeah, you got it right, in Avai Shanmukhi style, games, puzzles and songs filled the atmosphere with fun and energy. And then, the Head of the jeevan family just could not help but show his respect for womanhood in his own special way.
Jeevan holds this day close to their heart and wish all the women a great and successful year ahead. And hope to see as the emerging powers in the corporate and service world.

Jeevan Journey 2007
Jeevan had recently organized a trip to kodaikanal for Jeevanites. Around 250 odd members, a few dignitatries like Mr. Dhamu, Mr. Kripakaran, Mr. Tilakar, Mr and Mrs. Periyasamy, Mr. Regan had also accompanied the trip. It was two days of pure fun, frolic and entertainment. The journey started from Madras Central at 6.30pm on 21st April 2007 and reached Kodai on 22nd April 2007. Accomodation was provided in Green View Acres for the Dignitaties, Ladies and the Family people and at S.V. International for the Men. Arangements for Site Seeing was also done for the entire group. A Mega cultural Event was organised and various members and Jeevan participated in a varied kalidescope of events. The highlight of the event was the two hour Mimicry show by Dhamu who entralled the audience with this unique first ever kind of show that took us for a ride from the Past to the Future. It was a very memorable trip for all the Jeevanites.
